HLA, a full-service creative advertising and marketing communications firm based in Elmira, earned a Bronze Award in the Business-to-Business Brochure Category for a capabilities brochure they created for Gannon Associates Insurance. In addition, HLA won a second Bronze Award in the Complete Branding Package category for a ‘Points of Inspiration’ branding package they created for The Arts Council of the Southern Finger Lakes.
The Summit Creative Awards is a prestigious 22-year international advertising competition that offers participants a unique opportunity to showcase their talents alongside similarly positioned agencies, and to have their work judged by experts in the advertising field. This year it drew more than 5,000 submissions representing 21 countries from five continents. Winners were selected in categories including: advertising, website marketing, emerging media, collateral, direct mail, public service and social marketing.
"Each year, smaller advertising agencies and creative boutiques contribute more than $1 trillion to our economy creating everything from a prime-time TV spots to benches at local bus stops." said Jocelyn Luciano, Executive Director of the Summit International Awards. "A great deal of excellent work goes largely unrecognized by other award programs which can be dominated by large firms and their clients’ budgets. Our goal is recognize and reward these smaller shops for their contribution to the industry and the marketplace."
