F. M. Howell and Company, Inc. [FMH] wanted a new and modern website to act as an umbrella for their three businesses. They wanted to keep their unique URLs for each division, but wanted to bring the power of these three companies together online. This provided increased SEO power from the three original websites under one brand showcasing an increase in natural search results (Google) and making it easier for new clients to find their service and products online.
HLA developed several creative concepts and the FMH team chose the concept that utilized the Howell red along with shades of gray and clearly allowed visitors to search by business unit and by product category. A lot of emphasis was placed on shooting great quality video and photography at their packaging facilities.
A beautiful, modern website that clearly portrays the corporate side of the company and its rich, 137 years of packaging history, but still maintains the individualism of each business division, their products and services. Based on the new look and feel of the website, the FMH team asked to have their collateral materials – sell sheets and other print materials - updated to a similar look and feel.
